Web Site in use?
on: November 12, 2013, 21:04

I used to play back in the mid 2008 under the 3.5 rules and have decided to get back into the game and redownload all of the material for the change to pathfinder vesion, but all the downloads seem to be coming up as 0 size files.

Is there somewhere else I need to go to get the downloads? I am looking for the conversion information for a 3.5 character to Pathfinder. I got the pdf version of the Campaign Guide V1.5 December 2010 from Paizo along with their Core, Advanced Player, and Dungeon Master rule books on PDF's was well.

Is there somewhere I can get the PcGen data files for character creation and maintenence. I can probably whip up my own if I need to but no need to reinvent the wheel if available elsewhere.

Is there somewhere else I need to check into?

Fritz,

Well it is available now. But the only conversion guidelines is the 3.5 and since they don't mention converting to Pathfinder and have a cutoff of 2005, I am assuming I can't convert a 2008 3.5 character with them.

The Interrim Changes document mentions a 1.5 2010 Campaign Guide, but neither tells how to convert the character from 3.5 to Pathfinder.

Should I regenerate the character, using the 3.5 Conversion Guidlines, but use the Pathfinder Rules inplace of the 3.5. Or should I just use the Campaign Guide to generate a new character and plan on a level one start at GenCon.

The campaign guide is likely the pdf from paizo for $10. It is the legend of the shining jewel campaign rules. It is not a database sheer like you are looking for. If it was the character you used in lsj then I would guess use that conversion guide though I am not sure. I will try and mention to eric and/or nancy this evening when I see them to drop in this thread.
